This Ramadan, we invite you and your loved ones to join a variety of enriching programs and activities designed to inspire, connect, and uplift our community:
- Ramadan Prep: Start the month with reflection, renewal, and practical guidance for a meaningful Ramadan.
- Community Iftar: Registration is required to attend the Iftar at the Musalla.
- ‘Bros Youth Iftar’ for 10+ boys: Registration is now open.
- Taraweeh Prayers: Attend uplifting nightly Taraweeh prayers and beautiful Quranic recitation at the centre.
- Special Halaqa: Participate in family-friendly halaqa sessions to deepen your understanding of the Quran and foster spiritual growth.
- Charity Corner: Support ongoing charitable initiatives, including Zakat Al Mal and the Islamic Relief Canada 2:1 donation campaign.
- Health & Wellness: Access tips for healthy fasting, nutrition, and well-being throughout the month.
- Zakat Al Fitr: Remember to pay Zakat Al Fitr for each family member before Eid al-Fitr.

Taraweeh Prayers
During Ramadan, Taraweeh prayers will be held after Isha. Please refer to the following schedule for prayer times during Ramadan:
From Friday, February 27, to Saturday, March 7, Isha iqama will be at 8 PM, followed by taraweeh.
Taraweeh schedule: This Ramadan, our goal is to deepen our khushūʿ and understanding during Taraweeh by sharing the Quranic passages to be recited each night in advance. We encourage you to read translations, review tafsīr, and reflect on the themes beforehand—even 10-15 minutes can enhance your experience. Our focus is on meaningful connection with Allah in prayer, not just completing recitation. May Allah accept our worship and grant us freedom from the Fire. Ameen. Stay tuned for regular updates.
*The main floor is dedicated to brothers, and the second floor to sisters, with separate Wudu areas.

Volunteer Your Time
As part of our Ramadan tradition, we will host a community iftar and are seeking volunteers to help ensure the event runs smoothly and efficiently. It is a great way to contribute and enhance your spiritual rewards.
Sisters who wish to volunteer can sign up each week through the announcement shared in the Sisters Halaqa WhatsApp Group.

Special Halaqa
Alhamdulillah, we are excited to resume our Special Ramadan Halaqa every Sunday of this blessed month, 45 minutes before Iftar. Imam Aref Jadallah will deliver a concise, impactful talk that deepens your understanding of Ramadan and enhances your spiritual journey.
🌙 Special Ramadan Halaqa Recap on Fasting – Sunday, March 1
We had a wonderful turnout of families—especially youth—at our special Ramadan Halaqa! Imam Aref delivered an engaging and insightful talk on the virtues and significance of fasting in Ramadan. Boys and girls participated enthusiastically in a quiz based on the evening’s topic, with every child receiving a prize or small gift. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make it an inspiring and memorable night of learning, connection, and community spirit!
Please note details about our next Ramadan Halaqa:
Date: Sunday, March 8, 2026
Program:
- Halaqa will begin at 6:30 PM with a 20-minute talk, followed by a quiz for boys and girls, with special prizes for the winners. We encourage families to participate with children and youth. There will be a gift for every child attending the Halaqa, Insha'Allah.
- Maghrib (Iftar) at 7:09 PM.
- Isha will be called at 9 PM, followed by Taraweeh.

Special prizes & gifts for boys & girls
Join us for a special Ramadan halaqa focused on boys and girls! Each session will include an engaging discussion followed by an informative quiz based on the topic covered, with exciting prizes for both boys and girls. Every child will recieve a small gift.

Zakat Al-Fitr
$25 per person
Zakat Al-Fitr must be paid for every family member before Eid al-Fitr. This year, it is $25 per family member.
