Our skillful team defeated Vanua Levu by 2-1. The second game provided some competition. However, New Zealand was of no match to our hard-working youth who won by 3-2 to reach the semi-finals.
Our team brilliantly came from behind to defeat Fiji in the semi-finals. After trailing 3-0, our youth fought hard & tied the game by scoring a last-minute goal. It was a thrilling match that saw them winning on penalties. The boys were worthy finalists & finished the tournament as Runners-Up. It was a remarkable achievement, given that they had no substitute players!
There was an entertaining blend of courage & determination on full display on the pitch. Hats off to our guest players who provided excellent support to the side. Please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org, to know more about our Youth Sports-related activities.
